Mind and body practices, or mindfulness, involve being aware of your surroundings and being present in the moment. It also involves not being overly reactive or overwhelmed with whatever goes on in the moment.
The Potential Health Benefits
You can practice mind and body techniques through meditation, or being still, and taking in your surroundings. This practice has been linked to improvements in health such as lower blood pressure, lower blood sugar levels, decreases in stress levels, and improved sleep habits.
