“What I enjoyed the most was learning the different techniques. Secondary was my ability to communicate with other people about how difficult it is for me to fall asleep. I enjoyed talking to the other participants about their struggles and their victories with participating in the program. And Dr. Biggers and the mindfulness coach were great teachers in helping us understand that this is nothing to feel guilty about in terms of sleep. It is important to understand the importance of getting ample rest and rest that is uninterrupted.  And most importantly learning mindfulness is essential for every part of our lives.  I am very guilty about doing what I need to do and going to the next thing. And I didn’t take a lot of time to pay attention to appreciate the process. So learning the mindfulness steps helped me learn the significance of that.”
